Agentic Workshop uses only the data needed to provide your account, save learning progress and, when separately chosen, record your newsletter preference.
Service and data owner
Agentic Workshop is operated by Nello Castellano, legally based in Singapore. For the purposes of Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012, Nello Castellano is the organisation responsible for the processing described here.
Processing is designed around the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and Personal Data Protection Commission guidance, without limiting mandatory rights under other applicable laws.
Data we process
Internal account identifier, name, user-provided email, preferred language, non-reversible password hash, cryptographic identifiers for sessions and one-time links, registration date, essential email-delivery metadata, pseudonymised abuse-prevention indicators, learning activity, exercise answers, quiz and lab outcomes, newsletter preference and consent history. Passwords, session tokens and one-time links are not stored in plain text.
Purposes
- verify the email address, provide access and recover the password securely;
- prevent automated abuse and protect the account;
- save and display personal progress;
- use the chosen language for the site, course and emails;
- produce aggregate learning statistics;
- send editorial messages only with consent.
Technical providers
Hosting, database and transactional-email providers process only the data needed to provide those functions. The email provider receives the address, subject, language and message content, but never the password.
Newsletter
Consent is optional, is never preselected and can be withdrawn from the account area without losing course access. The history stores the notice version, choice, language and date as evidence of the preference.
Retention, protection and access
Account and progress data remain while the account is active or until deletion is requested. Proportionate access controls and technical safeguards are used. Access to individual records is limited to the authenticated superadmin and authorised on the server.
Your requests
You can change your language and newsletter preference, export your data or delete the account and progress from the account area. For access, correction or further information, use the public contact details on the author page.
